Production Team

I’m really looking forward to joining RMTC for their next production of ‘Legally Blonde’. By day I am a Production Manager on BBC One’s “The One Show”, but, in my spare hours you will find me in a few places...teaching Musical Theatre classes, Running a Guide unit or putting my heart and soul into theatre.
Most recently I directed The Wonderful Wizard of Oz at the carver theatre, and was nominated for my role as Musical Director for Elf. Jnr, with The Drama Department.
My passion project every year, is as one of the Producers of Marple Gang Show, a big cast show, where our main focus is developing confidence and stage skills for all involved; culminating in a slick performance with professional standards. I am big fan of rehearsals being an enjoyable atmosphere, with a supportive production team. I work hard for my cast and really do want to help each and every member to bring out their best on stage regardless of your part.

I’ve been doing shows for 12 years now I’ve been the MD for WAMDS and RMTC. I have musically directed shows such as 'We will rock you, Hairspray, Godspell, Les Miserables and Avenue Q.'
I have also performed on stage for several society’s winning a NODA award for best comedy performance as Trekkie Monster in Avenue Q.
Outside of being a Musical Director I’m a guitar/ukulele teacher for Rochdale Music Service and play in several bands playing mostly irish and rock music.
Anyone who knows me knows I am a Big fan of KFC and the Spice Girls and love to have a laugh and a bit of fun at rehearsals! I'm excited to be doing my 2nd show with Rochdale Musical Theatre Company!

I spent many years my life as a competitive dancer, touring up and down the country in various competitions, and later I went on to assist in dance classes at the age of 14. Once I turned 16, I began teaching dance classes and private lessons to a wide variety of ages and abilities. I developed a love of working with children, and this led me to a Primary Teaching degree at Edge Hill University. In 2016 I took the Associate teaching examination with the International Dance Teachers Association and in 2018 I went on to take the IDTA Licentiate exam.
In July 2019 I took on a new adventure when I became owner and principal of my very own dance school:
Legacy Dance Academy
Legacy Dance Academy is now a well known and successful dance school, providing dance lessons to hundreds of children across the Rochdale community.
I am very, very excited to be working alongside Rochdale Musical Theatre Company in this exciting venture and cannot wait to get stuck in and start auditions and rehearsals! I'm really looking forward to seeing the talent from Rochdale Musical Theatre members and the opportunities that this brings for Legacy Dance Academy and its pupils. My teaching style is relaxed and laid back and I believe that the most important part about dance is that it’s fun!
