Early Break was traditionally a charity that set up a helpline in 1994 from a garden shed to support young people with issues around drugs and alcohol. It soon became apparent that the support was much needed and Early Break has grown and evolved over the years to support young people and families with complex needs such as emotional health and wellbeing, domestic violence and child sexual exploitation.
In Rochdale Early Break supports young people up to the age of 25 and has a dedicated family service called ‘Holding Families’ which supports a whole family where the parents or carers are using drugs or alcohol.
If you are a young person that could benefit from some support or advice (sometimes it’s just a chat to give information) or you know of a young person that might benefit from Early Break’s help then please get in touch on 0161 723 3880 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org Any young person who reaches out to us for help will be allocated a worker within 24 hours and, as a person-centred organisation, will be seen for as long as is needed.
